Tim has successfully obtained millions of dollars in verdicts, judgments and settlements for his clients. In 2004 Tim was certified as a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. The Million Dollar Advocates Forum is recognized as the most prestigious group of trial lawyers in the United States. Membership is limited to attorneys who have won million and multi-million dollar verdicts, awards and settlements.
Tim was first named as a Texas Rising Star in 2004 as featured in the July 2004 issues of Texas Monthly magazine and Texas Rising Stars magazine. The honor is designed to identify the up-and-coming attorneys in Texas who are 40 years or younger. Only 2.5% of Texas Lawyers received this distinction. Tim has received the honor every year since. In 2005 Tim was elected as a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation, considered the premier organization of attorneys in Texas.
Tim received his B.B.A. from Texas Tech University and his law degree from the University of Houston, which consistently ranks amongst the top health care law schools in the country. After graduation, Tim was recruited to one of the oldest firms in Dallas, Burford & Ryburn, where he represented doctors and hospitals in medical malpractice cases. In 1998, Tim changed the focus of his practice to the representation of seriously injured inpiduals and their families.
Tim is Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, the Tarrant County Trial Lawyers Association, the Tarrant County Young Lawyers Association, the Tarrant County Bar Association, and the Christian Trial Lawyers Association.
